Grace Hollow showcases the photography of Michelle and Russell Taylor.
Michelle has loved taking pictures since she was a child, when her favorite
subjects were the elephants at the Indianapolis Zoo and the trees of Brown
County, Indiana. Years later, she received a completely manual
Pentax K1000 SLR camera and has been filling up photo albums ever since.
Most of her photo excursions occur when husband Russell has a conference or
workshop in some amazing place, but some are just from vacation.
Russell, more daring as well as very patient, goes for more adventuresome
shots when not toting around all the equipment. In real life, Michelle
works as an accountant and Russell is an associate research professor
focusing on nanotechnology and computer imaging.
Currently, Michelle has two pictures on exhibit, Daddy's Girl and Simple
Things, at the Chapel Hill Bible Church. Look for the Taylors at the
Carolina Hope benefit on April 16 at the American Tobacco Amphitheatre in
Durham, NC.
Why Grace Hollow?
It emerged as one of quite a few naming options for a private road.
Although the road remains unnamed, Michelle liked it enough to use it for
their website.
